The Kalamazoo Marathon! Participate…Earn Club Series Points…Earn Volunteer Points

Earn Club Series Points by Participating

Kalamazoo Area Runners is a proud Community Partner sponsor of the Kalamazoo Marathon/Borgess Run for the Health of It and we want your involvement!  We were well represented in 2011 with nearly half of our membership participating; 237 in the inaugural marathon, 138 in the half marathon and 69 in the 5k.  The Marathon, Half Marathon and 5k are all Club Championship Series events and offer a perfect opportunity to begin accumulating points, and perhaps even shatter our prior participation record.  In order to register, visit www.borgessrun.com.

Earn Volunteer Points by Volunteering

More than 1000 Volunteers are needed for the weekend’s activities and there are many opportunities to contribute even if you are running in the
event.  Volunteers receive a free t-shirt, courtesy of Stryker, the official Volunteer Support sponsor. You also get the satisfaction of being involved in an event that helps make this a stronger, more vibrant, healthier community.

Take a look at the volunteer opportunities via the link below and discover how to get involved.  Have a question?  Call the Special Events
Line, 345-1913.  More information is available via Kalamazoo Marathon Volunteer Opportunities
