Club Championship Series and Race Discount Program

In 2004, the Kalamazoo Area Runners began to administer the "Kalamazoo Area Runners Club Championship Series." All club members are automatically enrolled in the series. Non-club members cannot participate.

Club Championship Series events offer a discount to KAR and most events using a RunSignUp registration platform that applies the discount to club members automatically. Club Series age group awards will be presented to the top 3 in each age division, male and female, at the Club Series Awards Celebration in November. Time points are added for each runner’s best 7 races. Points for each race are determined as follows: Time points = winner time/runner time * 100.
