Dec 4 – Don’t miss our Beyond Info Night and Blast Off Party, complete with free pizza, prizes, and other fun times!
Our Beyond Information Night and Blast Off Party will take place on Wednesday, December 4th, 2024, at 6 p.m. at Mitten Running Co., 6290 S Westnedge Ave, Portage. This event is being coordinated with KAR’s usual Wednesday night fun run – come for the run and stay after for the info night, free pizza, and prizes! We will have people there to provide information, answer questions, and make sure you are prepared to start training. Fun times will be had by all, of course. (If you don’t want to run that evening, just show up at 6:45 p.m. for the other stuff.)
Team Leaders Still Needed!!!
We still have openings for several Team Leader positions. The following are still open (note that we are doing one-minute pace intervals this season):
- 10-11 minute Marathon
- 11-12 minute Half Marathon
- 11-12 minute Marathon
- 12+ minute Marathon

The cost of the Beyond Half and Full Marathon Training Program is $45 through December 31, 2024, for members of Kalamazoo Area Runners (KAR) (price increases to $55 January 1st and remains open through February 28th).
Non-member friends may join KAR at a cost of $20 full-time student/$25 individual/$35 family.
